General Site Details

A: Our season runs from the period of 1st February to 30th November. Each holiday caravan owner signs a Site Licence Agreement which is renewed annually. The licence period runs from 1st February – 31st January each year.

A: The current Site Fee for 2026 is £3,718.00 pro rata. Site Rates – which are due in June of each year – are at present £485.00. Both figures are reviewed annually. Electric meters are read annually in June and bills are sent to your home address as provided in the Licence Agreement.

A: The Bay Caravan Park is a holiday park – proof of a permanent residential address must be supplied. Before viewing a caravan or proceeding with a sale, your most recent council tax bill and utility bill (dated within the last 3 months) MUST be provided.

A: As per our ‘Rules and Conditions’, only one barrier card is issued per holiday caravan, regardless of how many people will be using the caravan. For reasons of security, this rule is strictly enforced, and no exceptions are made.

A: We welcome all well behaved and cared for pets. Dogs are to be always kept on a lead and under control on the caravan park and should not be left unattended in a caravan. Cats are permitted aslong as they are not left to roam free around the park. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets immediately.

A: Sub-letting or renting of caravans is not permitted on our caravan park. Caravans are to be used only by the license holder or their family/friends.

A: We provide work-plan sheets in the Park Office and also on our Resources page. Please note that no work should commence until your plan sheet is approved.

A. Grass cuttings will be collected every Monday morning (Easter – September) by our maintenance staff. Be sure to leave your green bag visible for staff to empty (ideally on your tow bar). Spare green bags can also be purchased from the park office.

A. Verandas are only permitted down one side (where the main door is) of the caravan. For reasons of fire safety they must not be enclosed/covered in any way and cannot be used for storage. Please see the park office for further details.

A. Storage boxes must be made of metal only, wooden and plastic boxes are not permitted. Their maximum dimensions are 6 × 4 × 4.

A. To find out more about Wi-Fi for your caravan, please see our Wi-Fi details page.

A. TV Aerials are permitted providing they are installed in a safe manner. The park office can recommend a local engineer who will install a dish in an acceptable place.

A. The park has sufficient parking for one vehicle per caravan. During holidays/busier periods it is essential that any second vehicles/visitors park in the overflow car park. (This is the grassed area on the far right-hand side of the park).

A. The refuse bins are for general caravan waste only. Old appliances/furniture etc. are strictly not allowed to be dumped in the park bin compounds and can instead be taken to a Civic Amenity Site.

A. Gas can only be ordered by contacting the park office (in person or via telephone) and can be collected or delivered. In most cases gas requests will be delivered the same day if ordered before 4pm. Please note you must have an empty gas bottle for us to deliver a new one.

A. No. The post box located near to the park office is for display purposes only. The Bay Caravan Park is a holiday park; we do not allow the delivery of mail and/or parcels.
